Due to the growth of new UMTS technologies the Protocol Testing Department of Métodos y Tecnología is working to get the 3rd mobile communications generation would be a reality as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding and analysing the client requierements to do the testing plans.
• Designing and specifing the testing documentation of network nods basing on the suitable RFC's.
• Developing and debugging of test cases on TTCN language for protocolos GSM, GPRS and UMTS protocols.
• Carring out the tests with TTCN-3 tool.
• Detailed Analysis of  testing specification datas reporting to the involved departament.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bacheror degree in Engineering / Telecommunications Engineers with at least one year of work experience.
• It's requiered at least 6 months of experience in testing protocols.
• Knowledges in: C/C++ programming languages, Linux/Unix Operative Systems, UMTS Technology (NBAP, B nodes, CDMA). Ability to understand standards and specifications. Ability Capacidad de entendimiento de estándares y especificaciones. The ideal candidate will be a teamworker and a communicative person.
• Availability to live in a country of EU.
• Desired requirements: ASN.1, SIP, TCP/IP, Diameter, Radius, MTP, LDAP, SNMP. TTCN.
• Network knowledges: GSM, GPRS, UMTS.
• High level of english, talking and writting.
